CANCELLATION POLICY
Wave Connections strongly advises that participants arrange insurance to cover unforeseen events such as illness, unfavourable weather, or cancellation of a course for which costs for course, travel and accommodation costs have been incurred.
Wave Connections do not recommend any particular insurer. We recommend that you find insurance that will be most suitable for your particular circumstances.
For information only: Cancel Sure specialises in insurance which covers the cancellation of courses by participants. If you wish to find out more information, UK residents can contact CancelSure on 0845 071 3929 or visit their website at www.cancelsure-insurance.co.uk. Their policies do not include any travel or accommodation expenses that have been incurred; however, a separate policy can be taken out with their sister company HotelSure www.hotelsure-insurance.co.uk. Insurance is particularly important during the winter months when the likelihood of unfavourable weather and associated travel disruption is higher. Please note that CancelSure provide cover available up to £1000.
Cancellation charges depend on when we receive your written/emailed cancellation notice:
● If cancelled more than 60 days before the course start date we will refund 100% of course fees, less an administration fee of £25.
● If cancelled between 50 and 60 days before the course start date, we will refund 90% of course fees. If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation, you will pay 10% of the fee due.
● If cancelled between 35 and 50 days before the course start date, we will refund 50% of course fees. If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation, you will pay 50% of the fee due.
● For bookings cancelled less than 35 days before the course start date or for ‘non-attendance’, no refund will be made. If the invoice is unpaid at the time of cancellation, you will still be liable for 100% of the course fee.
